Make the law be followed.
Five Stones Legal Defense Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds litigation and advocacy to hold government accountable. The National Election Integrity Initiative enforces election laws already on the books: accurate voter rolls, transparent records, and rules written by elected legislatures. The effort is nonpartisan by charter. It does not support or oppose any candidate or party.
The initiative is built to run in many states at the same time. A more detailed milestone and structure presentation is available by contacting Five Stones.
Five efforts
- Transparent voter data (ERIC). The interstate compact that holds most of America’s voter data should disclose its contracts and practices the way a public system would. This effort litigates for that transparency.
- Neutral public campuses. Taxpayer-funded universities should not run one-sided political programs or mishandle student data. This effort enforces neutrality and federal student-privacy law.
- No private money in election offices. More than 28 states have banned private funding of election administration. This effort works to make those bans real and to publish a sourced national money map.
- Accurate voter rolls (HAVA). Citizens can use the federal complaint process, with record-level evidence. The stated goal is 1.5 million verified roll corrections, each one published.
- Legislatures write election law. The Constitution assigns federal election rules to elected legislatures, not petition drives. A Michigan case seeks a binding precedent on that rule.
Phase 1 is the current milestone.
